Cutera Excel V+ Laser System is the latest generation laser technology designed with input from leading dermatologists and has superior power and performance in treating vascular and pigment concerns.

The Excel V+ uses clinically proven wavelengths of either 532nm (green light) or 1064nm (infrared) to deliver energy which is absorbed by blood vessels, melanin (pigment) and/or deeper layers of skin (collagen). The laser energy achieves results by heating the target tissue to shrink unwanted blood vessels, reduce pigmentation or inflammation, and stimulate collagen production

An in-built cooling system for superior comfort and safety. Discuss with your dermatologist further if you have pigment concerns you would like to address. At HCDL all laser or light-based therapies are performed or directly supervised by your treating dermatologist

Who can be treated?

In the past, some laser therapies were considered risky for people with darker skin, but Cutera’s excel V+ laser is safe and effective for all skin types including dark, light or tanned skin.

How does the excel V+ Laser work?

The excel V+ laser treatment works through the targeted application of clinically proven laser wavelengths. We target these wavelengths to specific areas of skin concern, and work to diminish uneven tone and stimulate rejuvenation.

This allows the excel V+ to address skin imperfections and stimulate collagen regrowth by gently heating the upper dermis below the surface of the skin. This process smoothes out fine lines and wrinkles, while dilated veins and capillaries receive extra heat to reduce redness and promote an even complexion. Throughout the treatment, the laser safely zeros in on areas of concern, such as the blood vessels that are a hallmark of rosacea and spider veins, and destroys them while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged.
